Polling Places

Early Voting/Absentee

You can early/absentee vote by requesting a ballot through the mail (here), or you can go down to the second floor of Lewiston City Hall and filling out a Ballot Request Form in person at the city clerk’s office (map). In-person early vote hours at city hall are 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday. On the last day of early vote (Thursday before election day) the in-person hours are 8 am-7 pm.

Early/Absentee voting starts approximately one month before election day, and ends the Thursday before election day. This does not apply to May elections, or the December mayoral run-off, which are instead two weeks in advance through the Thursday before.

2018: Early/Absentee voting starts no later than October 6th.
Last day is Thursday, Nov 1st.
